Happy Holidays

Last post of 2014...

We’ve had a great 2014! Although we only started Ottawa Foodie Girlz at the end of August, we've accomplished so much. In just over four months, we have more than 500 followers on Twitter and are getting more followers every day on Facebook and Instagram. We had our first event, which was very successful and rewarding; knowing we could help Phoebe and her family is the best feeling. We wish her and her family all the best and hope to see them home soon. We’re amazed and pleased that people are starting to recognize the Foodie Girlz about town, at restaurants, shops, and markets! In recent weeks, we’ve been to and supported many local events like the Locavore Artisan Food Fair (this was a great event, and one of the Foodie Girlz got to meet Don Chow of FoodiePrints!) and the Christmas Market at Lansdowne. The Foodie Girlz are looking forward to 2015 — we’ll be meeting in January to review our goals for the year. We’ll continue to be very active on social media, have more fundraising events, and create partnerships, and we hope to connect with many other local foodies! If you have a foodie event to let us know about or invite us to, please contact us. Wishing you and yours a very happy and safe holiday season.
