Support local farmers and producers but leave the cooking to some great chefs! Savour Ottawa’s Winter Tables starts tomorrow and runs until February 29, 2016. For those who aren’t familiar with Winter Tables, it celebrates the availability of local food in winter, as well as the talents of local chefs including:

What is Savour Ottawa?
Savour Ottawa is an initiative spearheaded by Ottawa Tourism, Just Food and the City of Ottawa (Markets Management & Rural Affairs Branches). Savour Ottawa is a membership-based initiative, aiming to highlight local farmers, and provide official recognition of local businesses' (restaurants, retailers, microprocessors) commitment to using local food and supporting local farmers. Savour Ottawa works to develop and promote Ottawa and area as a premier, year-round culinary destination, with robust offerings of local foods and experiences for both locals and visitors to the area.
