Celebrating 2 years of Ottawa Foodie Girlz

It’s hard to believe that two years have already passed since Ottawa Foodie Girlz was formed. Two years ago, we didn’t know what the future held. All we had was an idea, enthusiasm and hope.  Well, now we can honestly say that we’ve exceeded anything we could have ever imagined. We had a great first year and year two was even better. Andaz opens up in Ottawa

Ottawa joins other major cities like London, New York, Los Angeles, Shanghai and Tokyo to host an Andaz hotel....

Out of town family were visiting after Christmas and true to our annual tradition of post-Christmas dining out, this year we chose the SOCIAL. Surprisingly, I had never been to SOCIAL before but I had heard great things about it. Our dinner reservation was for four on December 27th. We arrived shortly before 6pm and were seated at a banquette-style table across from the bar. The restaurant has modern décor mixed with exposed brick walls, elegant chandeliers and plush red velvet. Tables were lined with tea light candles adding to the intimate but classy atmosphere. It was...
